Over the weekend, the new Utah State logos were unveiled by Nike and the school, establishing a uniform set of logos, lettering, colors and the like to create a sense of identity and “brand” across all Aggie sports. (New gear for most sports too, including the new Utah State football uniforms here.) So the natural question is, how does the new Utah State logo match-up with previous marks used by the school? The Air Jordan 1 Phat Anthracite/Club Purple-Spark began hitting stores this weekend, one of the better AJ1 Phats we’ve seen in recent months. No sooner do I post about the new Utah State logo and uniforms than I get plenty of official photos of the new Utah State football uniforms. Featuring the Nike Pro Combat System of Dress technology, making these about as advanced a football uniform as exists, the new gear gives the Aggies plenty of options to choose from, with three different choices for jersey and pants (navy, white and grey in each) and two different helmets. As we mentioned a week ago, today marks the unveiling of the new Utah State logo, a sort of rebranding process for the whole athletic department like the ones we’ve seen recently at Arizona State and Missouri. In concert with Nike, the school designed a new mark that would clearly identify the university and its myriad sports programs, while celebrating their individuality. The result is a new block “U” logo with “STATE” scrawled horizontally through the middle, somewhat reminiscent of the previous logo (a “U” with horizontal “STATE”) while still clearly new.

And while many of the sports programs are donning new gear, perhaps none is more impressive than the new Utah State football uniforms, which include a unique patterned helmet. I’m working on getting some official photos of the new stuff, but in the meantime big H/T to Jeremiah Jensen for the pictures.

We’ve got something of a Frank Kozik x Nike SB Dunk High release date for you today, though with it being an SB it may not be an across-the-board release date, so you’d best call your local skate shop to confirm. But it looks like several shops nationwide will be dropping the Kozik Dunk tomorrow, April 28th in-store only. Expect a quick sell-out too, as the shoe is an absolute monster, pairing a militaristic-style army green upper with bright orange inner-lining on the classic silhouette. (The addition of the acclaimed Kozik name on the shoe certainly doesn’t hurt, either.) Hit the jump for a few more shots. Photos via KicksHawaii.com

Nike Mach Force Mid | Holiday 2012 阅读原文»

The Nike Mach Force Mid releases in the Holiday 2012 collection, another vintage-style no-frills lifestyle model from Nike Sportswear. Bearing something of a resemblance to the Court Force Mid, though not much of one to the Air Mach Force, oddly, the shoe sports a leather construction, classic paneling and simple cupsole. Hit the jump for three upcoming colorways and stay tuned for a firm Mach Force Mid release date whenever we get it. (Retail is looking like $82.)
