Another big Nike SB hybrid to preview today, with our first official look at the Primitive x Nike SB Lunar Rod Safari, release date set for October. This Air Max 1 Safari-inspired colorway of the new model, which mixes the P-Rod 6 upper with a running-style double-stacked Lunarlon sole unit (technically borrowed from the Lunar Braata), will be available exclusively at the Paul Rodriguez-owned Primitive shop in California. After months of clandestine teasers and vague leaks, today we finally get a set of official photos of the Nike SB Koston x Heritage, release date set for late-2012. Inspired by the iconic Air Max 90, one of Eric Koston’s favorite shoes, the Koston x Heritage sports the performance-driven design and silhouette of the Koston 1, with Air Max 90-influenced updates like plastic piecing at the heel and quarter panel, classic color-blocking and stitching that represents that classic running shoe’s paneling.
