The next Kevin Durant signature shoe, the KD V, is not that far off, so why not take a look back at what might have been with the last one. While the Zoom KD IV was an unequivocal success by any measure — it was fantastic looking, a solid performance shoe and extraordinarily popular — there has been at least one misstep. Namely, the fact that this Nike Zoom KD IV Volt/Black sample never released. An outstanding colorway, it simply colors the whole shoe in volt, with black contrasting on the outsole, Swoosh and inner-lining. Disappointing that this one never hit retail, but perhaps we’ll see the colorway on the V. Photos via @SoleControl215
Another look-ahead to October’s SB set today, with the Nike SB Dunk High Soft Grey/Medium Mint. The dope colorway sports a grey suede upper with inset white leather at the collar and toebox, while a clean mint tone finishes the look on the tongue-tag, Swoosh and outsole. To the jump!
